As you know, Easter is this Sunday. I love Easter Sunday. Always have. It's always such a great and beautiful day. I have some really great music prepared for our Sunday service and for our choir to perform. We're also taking communion. Easter means so much to believers - it's the day Christ arose from the grave!! YAY Christians!
It also means one more thing -
EASTER OUTFITS!
This is where we have a current dilemma. Celie's Easter dress. Sigh. We need your help. I need you to be quick and nimble (I go crazy when I hear a cymbal with a high-hat and a souped up tempo, I'm on a roll, time to go solo - sorry, I had no choice.)
Please give me your thoughts on which dress Celie should wear for Easter.
Option 1 - a lovely white Strasburg dress. It has about 6 different colored ribbons to tie around the waist. It's shown here in blue, but we also have: pink, white, ecru, lavender and yellow.

Option 2: A fun, plaid with a big skirt. It has all that stuff underneath that makes it poke out.

Just leave a comment (with a little justification on why you made your selection) and we'd be very grateful!
Happy Easter!

I like the white - it's represents the purity & promise of Easter. "Now wash me & I shall be whiter than snow". Add a little Easter bonnet & she'll be adorable!
Easter is my most favorite time of year too - the promise of a new life & the eternal celebration it holds.
I vote for Option 2. The plaid dress is more fun and colorful and the fact that the fabric is on the diagonal on the skirt gives it a lot of visual interest. The white dress seems too serious for such a little cutie!
I think.....I think......I think the white one. And leave the blue ribbon. White one for church - Plaid one for the family time after.
Hmmmmm....I think I would go with the white. It's the classic Easter dress, with just a splash of color - I like the blue but pink ribbon might be cute too.
I say white as well - the blue ribbon is sweet.
White dress...with lavender ribbon! :-) Or pink!
Ok, since grandmother Blazer doesn't get to vote online I feel bad. But I am sure Sarah has asked her opinion:):) Well, for Easter it's got to be "WHITE", the blue bow to me is too dark, I think the pastels pink or yellow would look so pretty on her(skin like her papa's):):) inside joke!!! Just make sure you tie the bow correctly and if you have a problem Matthew Aunt Kat knows how to tie beautiful bows. Take the other dress for back up! But white gets my vote-if it matters:)
Well I think the white with pink or yellow--she will be the hit of the nursery anyway--ofcourse the white slippers to go with----she will be beautiful anyway--and she is too funny
